Proud to be here!
On May 1st I started my new position at Veracity Technologies. Before I get into that conversation I want to thank all of my previous employers. I've learned something in every position I've had the pleasure of holding. Why did I make a move? I thought and prayed about this decision quite a bit. I was afraid at first to admit that I was not fitting in where I was. After selling my business I had a need to have a steady pay check and...well...health care benefits. So I was accomplishing that but I was not fulfilling my purpose. In 2000 I decided to move out of Telecom and into the IT world. I went back to school and began taking certification exams with the goal of becoming an engineer. This is what I did for about a year. Then the dot.bomb hit and I was out of work. That is when I started my own IT company. This was out of the necessity to work. It took off and we had a blast for 5 years. Then I sold it to my business partner and headed back out into the world of being an employee. My family was tired of living paycheck to paycheck and so was I. I went to work for a communications company that wanted to be in the IT managed services business and they wanted my "expertise".
Well 4 years later and I've decided that the best place for me to be is with a company who is dedicated to being excellent at providing IT support and Managed Services to small and medium sized businesses. Here is my info:
I look forward to growing in my knowledge of IT and how to help businesses be there best with Technology. We have a high standard of engineering excellence here at Veracity Technologies. I've been very impressed in my short 3 days here. I'm excited to share my experiences and Ideas.
